Most people are more generous with charitable donations during the holidays, but children in the foster care system need our support throughout the year. The Guardian ad Litem Foundation provides the necessary training and coordination for Guardian ad Litem Volunteers to perform their duties on behalf of the child. The Guardian ad Litem Foundation works to provide children in the foster care and dependency system with the necessities they need so that they can assimilate and thrive. These necessities might include simple, basic items that are “normally” afforded to children and families but are harder to come by once in the system. These items might include essentials such as car seats, strollers, clothing, shoes, school supplies and even toys, and payment for extra-curricular activities.

The Guardian ad Litem Foundation provides additional support to youth seeking to rise above their circumstances by furthering their post-secondary education. These individuals have been involved in the foster care or dependency system and face unique challenges and need our support.
