Most people are more generous with charitable donations during the holidays, but children in the foster care system need our support throughout the year. This holiday season, we ask you to consider making a gift to the Guardian ad Litem Foundation. With your donation, we will continue to serve the abused, neglected and abandoned children in our community with the initiatives and programming that can Change a Child’s Story for a lifetime.
The Guardian ad Litem Foundation provides the necessary training and coordination for Guardian ad Litem Volunteers to perform their duties on behalf of the child. The role of a Guardian ad Litem Volunteer is vital to optimal outcomes for children in the foster care and dependency system. Learn more about what they do and how we support them here.
The Guardian ad Litem Foundation works to provide children in the foster care and dependency system with the necessities they need so that they can assimilate and thrive. These necessities might include simple, basic items that are “normally” afforded to children and families but are harder to come by once in the system. These items might include essentials such as car seats, strollers, clothing, shoes, school supplies and even toys, and payment for extra-curricular activities.

These individuals have been involved in the foster care or dependency system and face unique challenges and need our support.
